The Syft Analytics Hackathon 2023 is open for registration. Prizes are available at every round of the competition with a grand prize of R50,000 in cash up for grabs.
The Hackathon is open to third and fourth year students studying computer science, engineering, or any similar degree at a university in South Africa and takes place between May and September 2023.

You’ll receive an invitation with a link once the first round opens for the largest hackathon in South Africa.
Round 1 kicks off in May and Round 2 is in July. Round 1 and Round 2 are online and both remain open for one week. Round 3 is in person at Syft Analytics in September.
When will the challenge take place?
Round 1
Round 1 is an online challenge. You’ll have a week to complete this challenge.

Round 3
If you’re one of the top 16 performers in Round 2, you’ll be invited to the Syft Analytics office for Round 3. Round 3 will consist of 3 days:
